Danielle completed her Bachelor of Applied Science (Podiatry) in 2002 at the University of Western Sydney Macarthur. She started her career at the War Memorial and Bankstown hospitals providing podiatric care to public clients. She also worked in private clinics before purchasing the part time practice at Revesby in 2006. During this time she was also providing home visits in the area. Danielle took full ownership of the clinic in 2009.
The practice was expanded to two rooms in 2013, allowing Danielle to employ staff to help cope with the increasing patient load. She is currently working three days a week in order to spend more time with her children, who are 7 and 5. Danielle is experienced in all areas of podiatry, though she particularly enjoys working with her older clients and diabetic patients.
Danielle and her staff regularly host students from Western Sydney University as part of the practical component of their study, and she has recently accepted a casual teaching position with the Western Sydney University Podiatry UniClinic. She has on occasions been requested to provide information and presentations to different community groups on the benefits of foot health. Danielle is co-chair of the Podiatry Model of Care Working Group for South Western Sydney Local Health District, which aims to improve access to public and private podiatry services for residents of south western Sydney.
